With its patented Niaga® technology, OBJECT CARPET is setting new standards for sustainable flooring solutions. Our MONO and DUO carpets are made from a maximum of two materials:
- MONO carpets, made from 100% polyester, can be directly reintegrated into the recycling loop.
- DUO carpets, made from polyamide and polyester, feature innovative CLICK/UNCLICK technology, allowing for effortless separation of both materials and ensuring full recyclability.
This sustainable product design is the foundation of all OBJECT CARPET initiatives on the path to a circular economy.
As a consistent next step, OBJECT CARPET is building a comprehensive take-back and recycling infrastructure. Thanks to the long lifespan of our carpets, there is sufficient time to establish the system and efficiently process larger return volumes. At the same time, the continuous advancement of recycling technologies for polyester and polyamide is creating new opportunities for high-quality material recovery.
Currently, our focus is on collecting and recycling installation offcuts from MONO and DUO carpets. These leftover materials from the broadloom carpet fitting process help drive advancements in recycling and the development of new technologies—bringing us closer to a fully closed-loop circular economy.
