The Texoversum was built as part of the expansion of the Reutlingen University campus as a teaching, research and innovation center for textile technology. The unique façade represents the innovative strength and future viability of fiber-based materials and textile technologies. The interiors inspire with minimalist industrial screed and exposed concrete surfaces. The open space concept creates a collaborative working atmosphere and offers enough space for a lively exchange of ideas. To demonstrate the broad potential of textile printing and the tradition of artfully crafted tapestries, the 3rd floor features stairwells with OBJECT CARPET MADRA quality both on the walls and across the steps. Here, the color gradients change from a strong blue-purple tone to pink, orange and yellow. A great eye-catcher and a real splash of color in an otherwise minimalist building.
