The former freight depot near Munich’s central train station has been the subject of a major urban development project in recent years, the Arnulfpark. The new building of the NOVE finally closed the last vacant lot. The building provides office space on a floor space of 27,500 m² in the modern environment of trade, living and culture of Arnulfpark. At the same time, the architecture created by Antonio Citterio already visibly stands out from its surroundings in the external view: Golden aluminum frames adorn the windows and give the building a striking, three-dimensional structure. Inside, there are more and more warm materials such as wood and natural stone. The ensemble is structured around six central floors around a central 23-meter high atrium and a 9-storey high-rise building. For the sustainable building concept the NOVE was awarded the LEED Platin certification. In total 14,830 m² of textile floor coverings from OBJECT CARPET were installed in the NOVE by Citterio. The selected styles were SILKY SEAL in the colour 1215 Greige. The silky, shimmering surface pattern exudes an excitingly noble ambience. NOVE by Citterio is designed to be a green building. It received the LEED Platinum certification for its sustainable building concept. All styles of OBJECT CARPET products also fulfil the requirements for use in LEED and DGNB certified buildings.
